Mid September

Our classes 5-1 & 5-2 would like to head to our local wetland on Wednesday, September 25th (9:30-12:30).  In order to do this, we will need 5 volunteers to join us. Please email us ASAP if you would be able to attend.  Math: Exploring large numbers.   World Population Tracker  As we explore place value and large numbers, we have looked at the world around us to find examples. Take a moment to look at the population tracker. What place values are changing? What are the implications of this data? Science: As we learn about the difference between weather and climate, we are examining how humans are impacted and what roles we play. Please explore current weather events. Focus on where it occurred and how humans were impacted.  Humanities: We will be starting a Current Events task which will last throughout the school year.
